USA! USA! USA!
Like most people, my eyes were glued to the screen for the debate. To be frank, I was unimpressed with both sides. I was expecting more punches and aggression. Both candidates seemed too repetitive and indirect. I was hoping McCain was going to cream Obama on Iran, Iraq, and foreign policy due to his inexperience. And Obama to come back extremely strong with attacks on McCains recent ignorant economy statements.
I am really excited about the VP debate, hopefully it will be more entertaining.
Hard economic times…. maybe.
People my age or younger are pretty dumb. Seems like they forge opinions based on popularity and not logic. Case in point, a co-worker was talking about their passion for Obama. When I asked which policy of his they liked, all they could do is say that he would “make the changes necessary to improve America.” What the hell does that mean? How can you vote for someone and know nothing about them besides what you hear on the commercials?
I don’t think Obama’s current popularity will help him much on voting day. I have a hunch that a lot of younger Obama supporters wont even make it to their local polls.
And it is not that Obama supporters bother me…..I just expect them to have a basic understanding of what his intentions are. If you honestly feel that we need higher taxes, a large socialistic type government, and income redistribution; then by all means vote for the guy.
I am not a huge McCain fan either, but he is absolutely the lesser of two evils.
